Bookkeeping is a way for expenses to be tracked and kept orderly so that the operating profit can be readily understood.  While this is commonly thought only necessary for the O/O, company drivers need to track their expenses as well to make sure they are getting the most 'home' and so that at tax time they can get the most back as a refund on their tax return.

I have been doing taxes for over 13 years.  Before that I was an OTR driver myself with Burlington and Highway Carriers.  I am a Certified Tax Advisor.  I have designed and taught classes specifically on how to complete trucker's tax returns.  I understand the drivers job and lifestyle, and I am committed to helping the OTR driver save money, legally!
